This dress made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. I got complimented all night, espcially form my husband. It was everything I wished for and more. I felt amazing and I could move and dance and I wasn't dying to get out of it at the end of the night. It photographed so well and looked amazing next to my husband's tuxedo. I was going for a modern and elegant look and I think this dress worked perfectly. We had an outdoor ceremony (everything else was inside) but it was on grass so there are no stains or damange whatsoever. It really popped against the greenery and trees which is what we wanted.
I'm tall (5'10") so I wore this dress with flat dressy sandles. If you aren't as tall it would look amazing with heels too. The front is shorter so it's very easy to walk in and you wont trip. I did get it hemed so that this was achieved and the seamstris removed the pattern around the trim (forgive me, I don't know the lingo very well) and was able to hem it like that, super easy and then she sued it back on and it looks like nothing was even touched. If you also need additional hem, this will be very easy to do. I also took in an inch from each side on the wiast so that that really popped and it ended up being so flattering. I'm busty, but if you're not thats easy to alter as well. The straps are silk so they were very comfortable and I didn't have a rash at the end of the night. There is a nice size train, not too crazy and there are buttons for a super quick and easy bustle.
