I absolutely loved this dress! It is classy, sophisticated, gorgeous, sexy, and everything you'd want in a dress! Super light and comfortable. Sofia is from the Liz Martinez 2016 Collection and is described as "Elegance at its finest". I wore it on January 24, 2020 at my wedding in Tulum, Mexico.
Sofia has a fit and flare mermaid feel and is effortless and lightweight to wear. Brought to life with white/ivory applique flowers, hand sown onto a soft silk tulle with a lined underlay of nude. A luxurious capped sleeve highlights a mid open back. The dress has a beautifully deep V neck which is securely set in place with hidden nude tulle.
I am a US Size 2, 5'6" and wore 2" heels, which puts me at 5'8". I still left plenty of length at the bottom, and a small train, which can be easily cut off, as I've seen most brides do with this gown. Waist is 27" and has give as this material is stretchy. I added nude lining through out the dress, to ensure it was not see through, as I got married on the beach. I also added cups, which are only tacked on by a few stitches and can be easily removed.
Update to the original post! I did not wear fake tan on the day of my wedding. The only cleaning needed was for the trail, which you can tell has some slight staining from the wood dance floor which can easily be cut off or used as is. As you can tell from the pictures, it is not visible at all, unless you look underneath the dress. There is a small hole at the end of tulle, which cant be seen at all, but that's why i am discounting this dress so much. This can be easily cut off as well. I am happy to share videos/or do a facetime call or whatever is needed. Overall, in excellent condition.
